Remote Civil Engineer, Infrastructure Projects

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Remote Civil Engineer to join their innovative team, focusing on infrastructure projects. This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the US. You will be responsible for the design, development, and oversight of various civil engineering projects, including but not limited to transportation systems, water management facilities, and site development. Key responsibilities involve performing complex engineering calculations, developing detailed design plans and specifications, and ensuring compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and standards. You will collaborate virtually with project managers, architects, surveyors, and construction teams to ensure successful project execution. This role requires a strong understanding of geotechnical engineering, structural analysis, hydraulics, and environmental considerations. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D) and other relevant engineering simulation tools is crucial. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required, and a Professional Engineer (PE) license is strongly preferred. A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project management is expected. Strong remote communication and collaboration skills are essential.
