Remote Chinese Transcription Specialist (Contractor)

We're seeking talented and enthusiastic individuals to translate and transcribe audio files from Chinese to English, working on a project-by-project basis with a competitive pay rate per minute. With a remote work setup, you can be located anywhere in the United States, and all you need to get started is a computer, internet connection, headset, and proficiency in Microsoft Word. As a Chinese Transcription Specialist, you will be responsible for: • Transcribing assignments accurately and efficiently, meeting tight deadlines (typically 24 hours) • Proofreading work, researching as needed to ensure high-quality output • Completing all assignments on time and responding to emails promptly • Performing quality control checks against requirements to ensure excellence To succeed in this role, you'll need: • Attention to detail and excellent grammar and proofreading skills • Fluency in Chinese and English, with strong translation skills • Excellent communication skills and consistent work quality • Ability to pass our Chinese Transcription Assessment • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and problem-solve • Computer literacy, including working knowledge of Dropbox products • Flexibility and ability to work under tight deadlines • At least 1+ year of experience in transcribing, quality control, or proofreading This is a contractor position, offering flexible work-from-home options.
