[Remote] Chief Legal Officer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Wincent is a team of 120 people focused on high-frequency trading in the crypto market. They are seeking a Chief Legal Officer to manage their legal and regulatory agenda, ensuring effective navigation of complex regulatory environments while being part of the leadership team. Responsibilities • Own the legal and regulatory agenda • Manage high-impact projects • Speak up when you see risks others don’t Skills • At least 10 years of post qualification legal experience, qualification in a common law system strongly preferred • Former CLO or GC experience is strongly preferred • Experience working in or with firms conducting regulated activities, including engaging directly with the regulators • Legal experience with international capital markets: securities, derivatives, financial services • Experience in international corporate structuring: corporate contracts, taxation, employment • Specific experience with digital assets regulation is welcome • Full relocation to Gibraltar, or at least 50% of your work time spent in Gibraltar Company Overview • Wincent is a crypto market maker providing liquidity to centralized exchanges and institutions via off-exchange venues.
