[Remote] Chief Financial Officer

Galecki Search Associates is a rapidly growing Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance and technology-driven organization seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to guide the company through its strategic growth. The CFO will lead the financial strategy, support complex corporate structures, and prepare the organization for future capital markets activities, including potential IPOs or acquisitions.ResponsibilitiesLead the company’s long-term financial strategy, including capital planning, fundraising support, scenario modeling, budgeting, and board-level financial communicationPrepare the organization for future capital markets activity by overseeing audited financials, strengthening financial infrastructure, and supporting IPO or strategic transaction readinessPartner with executive leadership on complex insurance and corporate structures, including reciprocal and SPV-related initiatives, while helping evaluate operational and technology investment decisionsSkillsSignificant finance leadership experience within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry, ideally within a high-growth carrier, MGA, or insurtech environmentExperience supporting audited financials and operating in venture-backed and/or private equity-backed businesses with active investor and board engagementDemonstrated exposure to IPO preparation, strategic acquisitions, capital raises, or other liquidity events; experience directly participating in these processes is strongly preferredExperience directly participating in IPO preparation, strategic acquisitions, capital raises, or other liquidity eventsCompany OverviewGalecki Search Associates is a boutique search firm focused on the Property & Casualty Insurance and Insuretech / Insurtech space.
