The Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) oversees all clinical departments, ensuring the delivery of trauma-informed and evidence-based care while collaborating with the executive team to develop strategies and policies for the organization.ResponsibilitiesIn collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Compliance Officer, ensures compliance with all Federal/HRSA, State, Local and other grant requirementsMaintains current knowledge regarding todayβs healthcare environment, including all FPCSN clinical disciplinesCollaborates with the Clinical Directors, develops, implement and evaluates all clinical policies and proceduresCollaborates with Clinical Directors to ensure that the Clinical Departments are operating effectively and efficientlyWorks collaboratively with the Chief Financial Officer to ensure fiscally sound practices within the FPCSN Clinical DepartmentsWorks collaboratively with FPCSNs Executive Team to ensure effective development, implementation and communication of FPCSNs policies and proceduresMember of the FPCSN Executive TeamSupervision of all FPCSN Clinical DirectorsRepresent FPCSN to outside agencies and entities in the Chief Clinical Officer roleCoordinate monthly meetings with Clinical Department leadershipCoordinate QI efforts for clinical departments, set network goals and promote clinical departmental accountabilityWorks collaboratively with the Quality Manager, Population Health Manager and Clinical Directors on all required clinical data reportingServe as a clinical resource to all departmentsValue, understand and ensure each of the clinical departments of FPCSN (clinical care, operations, staffing model, budget/fiscal, etc.) provides high quality, trauma-informed, antiracist, evidenced-based careIncrease integration among clinical disciplines in collaboration with all Clinical Directors Represent the clinical voice of all disciplines in decision making (grants, programs, operations, staffing, budget/fiscal, etc.)In partnership with all Clinical Departments, promote and advocate for clinicians, clinical staff, and clinical practice internally to support healthcare professionals. Represent/advocate for FPCSN clinical professions to external partners or governing bodies to advance and influence clinical practice at the local, regional, and state levelsClinically practices at least 1 day/weekAssumes responsibility for other duties as assignedSkillsCurrent Pennsylvania Physician or Nurse Practitioner licenseAt least 5 years of practicing as a licensed Physician or Nurse PractitionerAt least 5 years of leadership experience working with an integrated healthcare facility with multiple clinical disciplines, specifically Dental, Primary Care, Behavioral HealthAt least five years' experience in healthcare managementExperience with pediatrics, adults and managing chronic conditions is a mustLeadership and management skills necessary to work effectively within a system, influence results, motivate individuals and teams, and resolve problems in a diplomatic, professional mannerExcellent relationship, oral and written communication, persuasion, negotiation, and presentation skills. The candidate must be able to clearly articulate factual and advisory information to all levels of staff, executives, the boards of directors, and others, and garner related supportComputer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
