As a Remote Chat Support Assistant, you will be the first line of communication for our customers via chat support. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with inquiries related to our publications, websites, and services. You will play a vital role in ensuring a positive user experience and actively contribute to our mission of keeping people informed and engaged.
• *Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide timely and effective chat support to customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to News Corp publications and online platforms.
- Utilize chat support software to engage with customers, capture data, and document interactions in a clear, concise manner.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of News Corp products and services to accurately communicate features, benefits, and troubleshooting methods to clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as technical support and customer service operations, to escalate complex issues and ensure swift resolution for customers.
- Gather feedback from customers to identify trends, suggest improvement areas, and enhance overall service quality.
- Develop and maintain training materials, FAQs, and knowledge base articles to facilitate self-service options for customers.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to share insights, best practices, and innovative solutions to improve customer support processes.
- Monitor chat performance metrics, strive to meet or exceed KPIs, and actively pursue continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Uphold company values and maintain professionalism during all customer interactions, fostering a positive image of News Corp.
• *Requirements:**
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service, with a strong emphasis on chat support.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences and resolving issues effectively.
- Familiarity with customer support software and chat platforms. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate solutions clearly and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with an innovative and proactive approach to identifying and implementing solutions.
- High level of motivation and resilience in a fast-paced environment with ever-evolving demands.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability for team goals and performance.
