Remote chat agent
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Live Chat Agent to join our remote team. As a Live Chat Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing assistance, answering questions, and resolving issues through live chat. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via live chat.
ā¢ Provide accurate information and solutions to customers' questions and concerns.
ā¢ Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively.
ā¢ Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring a positive chat experience.
ā¢ Keep detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
ā¢ Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve complex issues.
ā¢ Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and company policies.
ā¢ Assist with other customer service tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
ā¢ High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is a plus.
ā¢ Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a live chat environment.
ā¢ Excellent written communication skills with a focus on clarity and grammar.
ā¢ Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
ā¢ Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
ā¢ Proficiency with computers and ability to learn new software quickly.
ā¢ Strong typing skills with accuracy and speed.
ā¢ Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
Preferred Skills:
ā¢ Experience with customer service software such as Zendesk, LivePerson, or similar.
