Remote Certified Pharmacy Technician

Our client is currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician to work remotely!
Ā * Remote however need to reside in one of the following sates: Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina **
Primary responsibility will be answering incoming calls for their call center. No outbound cold calls.
Hours:
9:00a to 5:30p EST.
Training will be about 3-4 weeks.
Responsibilities:
Ā Triage requests by providers and/or members/members representatives for pharmacy prior authorizations, exceptions, and appeals
Ā Enter authorizations and test claims into the pharmacy benefit system to ensure appropriate claim adjudication
Ā Perform system edits, data entry, and complete tracking logs
Ā Assist with departmental audits and quality improvement activities
Qualifications:
Ā National Certification as Pharmacy Technician (PTCB)
Ā Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
Ā Must be a team player, be organized and have the ability to handle multiple projects
Ā Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ā Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Ā Proven decision making and problem-solving skills
Ā Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Ā Knowledge in Medical terminology
