[Remote] CCA Consultant

Bayforce is seeking experienced CMMC Certified Assessors to support a growing portfolio of CMMC Level 2 assessment engagements for Department of Defense (DoD) contractors. The role involves conducting assessments, evaluating compliance with CMMC and NIST 800-171 requirements, and collaborating with client stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in and support CMMC Level 2 assessments for DoD contractorsReview and evaluate security controls aligned to NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC requirementsConduct evidence reviews, interviews, and testing activities as part of the assessment processEvaluate System Security Plans (SSPs), POA&Ms, policies, procedures, and supporting artifactsDocument assessment findings and support assessment reporting activitiesCollaborate with client stakeholders to validate control implementation and compliance postureSupport multiple assessment engagements as project demand requiresContribute to overall assessment quality, consistency, and client successSkillsActive CMMC Certified Assessor (CCA) certification requiredStrong knowledge of CMMC 2.0, NIST SP 800-171, and related assessment methodologiesExperience performing security assessments, audits, control validation, or compliance reviewsExperience reviewing SSPs, POA&Ms, and supporting compliance documentationExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsLead CCA (LCCA) certification strongly preferredExperience supporting or participating in CMMC assessment activitiesDoD, federal, RMF, NIST 800-53, or FedRAMP experiencePrior experience working with assessment teams, auditors, or compliance organizationsActive or previous security clearance is a plusCompany OverviewBayforce is an information technology company that provides ERP, CRM, and cloud solutions.
