The role involves analyzing sales performance and providing insights to support National Account Managers and contribute to sales forecasting and inventory planning.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze sales performance, pricing, and promotional data across key retail accountsBuild and maintain retailer-specific reporting templates and dashboardsProvide insights on trends, account performance, and opportunities for growthSupport National Account Managers with data needed for retailer meetings and strategyAssist in tracking distribution, velocity, and promotional effectiveness across accountsPrepare materials for retailer reviews, including reporting packs and summariesContribute to sales forecasting and inventory planning through data analysisIdentify gaps, risks, and opportunities related to product performance and supplyHelp inform pricing, trade spend, and category strategiesStandardize data processes and reporting structures across accountsEnsure accuracy and consistency in data used for internal and external reportingWork efficiently within Excel-based environments (no advanced systems required)Partner with sales, operations, and leadership to align on reporting needsSupport ad hoc analysis tied to new product launches, expansion, and retailer requestsSkills2+ years of experience in data analysis, sales analytics, or category analysisStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)Experience supporting retail-facing teams or accountsAbility to translate data into clear, actionable insightsHighly organized with strong attention to detailExperience in CPG, food and beverage, or retail analyticsExposure to grocery/mass retail environments (e.g., Walmart, Kroger, Whole Foods, H-E-B)Experience working in a startup or lean team environmentBenefitsMedical/dental/vision insuranceHSAFSA401(k)Life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employeesSalaried personnel receive paid time offHourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by lawHourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leaveCompany OverviewKforce is a solutions firm specializing in technology, finance and accounting, and professional staffing services.
