Key Responsibilities
• Manage an assigned caseload of post-release services (Levels I & II).
• Conduct comprehensive home study reports to assess risk, safety, and suitability of child placements.
• Ensure adherence to federal and program policies, procedures, and timelines.
• Collaborate closely with care providers to gather and verify necessary information for successful sponsorship.
• Evaluate the prospective sponsor's capacity to provide suitable care and a secure living environment.
• Identify and coordinate additional support services essential for children and their sponsors.
• Carry out regular virtual and in-person home visits.
• Employ trauma-informed methodologies to support and guide children and sponsors.
• Maintain precise documentation and protect confidential records.
• Report any concerns related to child welfare or significant incidents as required.
• Engage in ongoing training, meetings, and initiatives for quality improvement.
• Travel as needed to conduct in-person home study and post-release visits, with occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines.

Required Skills
• Proficient in writing comprehensive and professional assessment reports.
• Experience working with immigrant populations and delivering trauma-informed interventions for youth.
• Familiarity with family preservation, kinship care, child welfare policies, and federal/state regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with families, caseworkers, and stakeholders.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written) is required.
• Competent in Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
• Valid driver's license with readiness for national travel.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) or a related field such as Education, Psychology, Sociology, Behavioral Science, or Social Services.
• A minimum of 1 year of case management experience.
