[Remote] Case Manager

The role involves managing cases between carriers and agents, providing consultancy services, and ensuring all underwriting requirements are fulfilled. Responsibilities Build and maintain strong working relationships with the sales team, supporting them in processing client applications Manage cases between carriers and agents to ensure all underwriting requirements are fulfilled. This involves meticulously reviewing client applications to confirm that they are complete for the underwriting process Provide case consultancy services to the agents Liaise with carrier contacts regarding pending cases Flag product suitability and review variable rate illustrations Propose improvements to processes and technology Perform additional duties related to the New Business Department as assigned by the immediate manager Skills 1-2 years of Case Management experience in the life insurance industry Previous experience working at an MGA will be given preference Basic understanding of life insurance products is a strong asset Basic understanding of the underwriting process Proficiency in French is an asset Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent time management and organizational abilities -- Capable of managing tight deadlines and multiple priorities effectively Effective problem-solving and investigative skills Reliable, trustworthy, proactive, with a keen sense of ownership and initiative Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Approachable and professional in delivering suboptimal information via in-person, phone, and email interactions Strong computer skills with a capacity to learn new systems Ability to handle stressful situations with a positive, proactive attitude Positive demeanor with an openness to constructive feedback Must reside and be authorized to work in Canada Benefits Work-life balance with paid vacation and sick days Competitive compensation Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits Flexible work options Career growth and development opportunities Diverse teamwork environment.
