[Remote] Capital Markets Associate, Structured Finance

The Capital Markets Associate will be responsible for capital markets activities including capital raising, execution, and modeling work to support these opportunities, while collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesFocus on developing and executing Excel financial models to support Tax Equity and Debt capital fundingLead the execution of tax equity, debt, and equity funding processes with external stakeholdersResponsible for reporting associated with Palmetto Finance to key financial stakeholders, while partnering with technology teams to ensure automation on reportsUtilizes skills to enhance existing processes and workflows for more efficiency, partnering closely with other teams e.g. Data Analytics, Operations, etcLiaisons with Corporate Finance, Treasury, Asset Management, and Accounting to ensure partnership and transparency on all things Palmetto FinanceBuilds and maintains strong relationships with key banks and other key external partnersIs highly attuned to customer needs and requirements, and can anticipate their needs, and provide tailored solutions to meet their objectivesSkillsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; Master's or MBA a plus3-5+ years of experience in banking or capital markets; solar industry and structured finance experience strongly preferredStrong business acumen and analytical skills with deep understanding of the macroeconomic landscapeProactively identifies improvement opportunities across systems and processes, and implements solutions and updates themHighly motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced customer-centric environment where priorities may change quicklyCollaborates seamlessly with internal teams in Finance & Accounting, Technology etcStrong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills; can present to varying audiences and leadersSolar industry and structured finance experience strongly preferredBenefitsUnlimited PTOMedical, dental, and vision coveragePaid parental leaveRetirement plansCompany OverviewPalmetto accelerates the clean energy transition with software and financial services that make home electrification easy.
