Logan Finance Corporation is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Capital Markets Analyst to support various functions of their Non-QM mortgage platform. The role involves optimizing loan profitability, managing investor relationships, and contributing to the company's growth initiatives within the capital markets.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and price residential mortgage loans in accordance with investor guidelines, market conditions, and company profitability objectivesManage loan-level and product-level margins to ensure alignment with corporate revenue and growth goalsReview pricing exceptions and concession requests, providing recommendations based on profitability, competitiveness, and strategic objectivesConduct pricing and profitability analysis to support product development, investor selection, and business strategy decisionsEvaluate the financial impact of investor pricing changes, product enhancements, and market developments on loan profitabilityDevelop and maintain profitability models, pricing analytics, and management reporting toolsManage relationships with investors and aggregatorsReview and maintain investor guidelines, overlays, and program updatesMonitor pipeline status and investor commitments to facilitate efficient loan delivery and executionPrepare and deliver loan sale packages and supporting documentationResolve post-purchase conditions and investor inquiriesEvaluate new investor opportunities and execution channels to improve profitability and operational efficiencyDevelop and maintain capital markets reporting and dashboardsAnalyze loan production trends, gain-on-sale performance, investor execution results, and profitability metricsMonitor loan-level profitability and identify opportunities to improve marginsProvide management with actionable insights regarding investor performance, product trends, and market opportunitiesSupport monthly and quarterly forecasting related to loan sales and capital markets activitiesSkillsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Mathematics, or a related field2+ years of experience in mortgage capital markets, secondary marketing, investor relations, mortgage analytics, or related financial servicesStrong understanding of residential mortgage lending and secondary market fundamentalsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, data analysis, and reportingStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience with Non-QM lending products and investor programsFamiliarity with loan sale execution, investor delivery processes, and post-purchase reviewsExperience with Encompass and mortgage reporting platformsExperience with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQLUnderstanding of gain-on-sale analysis and mortgage profitability metricsCompany OverviewLogan Finance Corporation provides flexible loan options at competitive rates in addition to home purchase and home refinancing.
