Remote Call Center Pharmacy Technician (Montana residents only)

Company Overview OSRX, Inc. is a fast-growing, locally owned compounding pharmacy specializing in sterile ophthalmic eye drops for patients across the United States. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service and efficient prescription delivery, as most of our prescriptions are shipped directly to patients, minimizing face-to-face interactions. OSRX is looking to hire a Remote Customer Service Pharmacy Technician to assist patients over the phone with prescription refills, shipment tracking, and general inquiries. This role is critical in ensuring quick response times and exceptional customer service during peak call hours. Hours will be Monday through Wednesday, 8am-6pm MST with possibly more hours depending on call volume. While our onsite pharmacy team will continue to assist with calls, this position will focus on handling high call volume and ensuring patient needs are met efficiently. Key Responsibilities • Answer high-volume inbound calls (8-12 calls per hour required) and assist patients with prescription-related inquiries. • Verify patient information and securely process payments. • Process prescription refills and provide shipment tracking updates. • Add allergy information when needed. • Document patient interactions with clear, concise notes. • Work closely with the onsite team and pharmacists to resolve patient issues. • Ensure HIPAA compliance and follow all company policies. • Maintain strong performance metrics (call handling time, customer satisfaction, etc.). • Flexibility to assist outside of scheduled hours when needed. What We’re Looking For • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) in Montana (Required). • Must reside in the state of Montana. • At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience (preferred). • Experience in a high-volume call center or pharmacy setting. • Ability to take 8-12 calls per hour while maintaining excellent service. • Strong communication and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently in a remote setting. • Reliable internet connection and quiet work environment. • Comfortable handling a high call volume.
