Position: Remote CAD Drafting Technician (Survey / Civil / GIS Data) We’re seeking a skilled technician to assist with converting field data files (CSV/NEZ, shapefiles, and text points) into clean, formatted CAD drawings and PDF deliverables. This role is ideal for a technically-minded individual with survey, civil, or GIS drafting experience who values flexibility and accuracy. Responsibilities • Draft and format survey and layout drawings from raw coordinate data • Create labeled grid plots, legends, and north arrows using set standards • Compare design vs as-built data and document differences • Prepare point tables, QC reports, and plan/side-view visuals • Collaborate remotely with the DDR team for project delivery Qualifications • Experience with AutoCAD, QGIS, or equivalent CAD/GIS software • Knowledge of survey terminology and coordinate systems (NEZ, grid layouts) • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow client formatting standards • Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently Details • Job Type: Contract / Part-Time (Remote) • Hours: 10–20 per week (flexible) • Pay: $25–$40 per hour (based on experience) • Location: Remote – U.S. only Why Work With Us At Digital Data Reports, you’ll work directly with experienced survey professionals on real-world data — not just templates.
