[Remote] CAD Designer

They are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Designer to support their engineering team in developing, modifying, and releasing models, assemblies, and drawings for critical hardware and tooling.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and release designs, models, and drawings for umbilical systems, ground testing equipment, launch pad structures, and transportation/handling toolingMaintain product data and configuration management through controlled release processes, adhering to engineering standardsGenerate detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.5 (GD&T) standardsCollaborate with stress analysts and design engineers to incorporate analysis-driven design changes and ensure quality requirements are metSkillsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experienceProficiency in Creo (Pro/ENGINEER) for modeling, assemblies, and drawing creationStrong working knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14.5 drafting standardsExperience with configuration management and engineering change/release processesCompany OverviewSSi People, located in Cranberry Township, PA, is an organization with over 25 years of staffing industry experience across various labor verticals in the United States, serving Fortune 1000 companies.
