The Principal Product Owner supports the end-to-end product strategy and delivery across applications within the Business Systems landscape, partnering with senior leaders to align business priorities with product strategy and ensure successful execution of complex initiatives.ResponsibilitiesEnsure product strategy, architecture, and delivery align with FedRAMP security and compliance requirementsPartner with security, compliance, and engineering teams to support FedRAMP authorization, audits, and continuous monitoring activitiesEmbed security and compliance considerations into product design, prioritization, and delivery processesDrive adoption of compliant, secure, and scalable solutions that meet federal and regulated customer requirementsOwn and drive product strategy and roadmap across essential applications within the Business Systems landscapeTranslate business strategy into scalable product capabilities and aligned system roadmapsPartners with senior business and technology stakeholders to shape demand, define priorities, and influence investment decisionsDrive delivery of complex, multi-system product initiativesEnsure alignment and integration across systems, enabling end-to-end process optimization and consistent user experienceIdentify cross system dependencies, risks, and constraints, and proactively define mitigation strategiesEstablish and enforce product management standards, governance, and best practices across teamsOversee prioritization across multiple backlogs, ensuring alignment to strategic outcomes and enterprise prioritiesEvaluate tradeoffs across initiatives, balancing speed, cost, risk, and long-term scalabilityDefine and track measurable business outcomes, including operational efficiency, customer experience, and cost optimizationDefine and drive the strategy for AI and automation capabilities across the Business Systems landscape, prioritizing high impact use cases that improve efficiency, decision making, and user experienceServe as the escalation point for complex or high impact product decisions requiring cross functional alignmentPresent product strategies, roadmaps, tradeoffs, and outcomes to senior leadership to support decision makingDrive adoption and optimization of product capabilities to maximize business valueContinuously identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and ways of working across the organizationMentor and guide product owners and analysts, elevating product management maturity across teamsSkillsMust be a US citizen, permanent resident, green card holder of naturalized citizenAbility to obtain US security clearanceBachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience10+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, or related roles within enterprise environmentsProven experience owning product strategy and delivery across multiple systems or a product domainStrong understanding of enterprise business systems, including customer operations, case management, and CRM platformsDemonstrated experience leading large scale, complex, cross functional initiativesProven experience defining and implementing AI or automation solutions within enterprise systems, with demonstrated business impactStrong understanding of AI and data driven product capabilities, including practical applications and limitations in enterprise environmentsStrong understanding of system integrations, data models, and enterprise application architectureDemonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decision makingExperience operating in Agile delivery environmentsStrong strategic thinking, with the ability to connect business objectives to product strategy and executionDeep understanding of product management principles and lifecycle managementStrong system level thinking across multiple platforms and business processesExecutive level communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to lead through influence across multiple teams without direct authorityStrong decision-making skills in ambiguous and fast paced environmentsAbility to define and measure business outcomes and use data to drive decisionsStrong collaboration skills across business and technical teamsAbility to prioritize and manage work across multiple initiatives and stakeholdersBenefitsExcellent time away from work programsComprehensive wellness initiativesRecognition through competitive pay and benefitsVolunteer days and our charity, Dayforce CaresCompany OverviewDayforce is a time and attendance application that helps businesses automate clocking and streamline employee payroll.
