Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer/Report Writer to design, develop, and maintain reports within the Epic electronic health record system. This role involves collaboration with healthcare professionals and IT teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and to meet the reporting needs of the organization.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy custom reports and dashboards within the Epic EHR system using Epic’s reporting tools such as Reporting Workbench, Radar, SlicerDicer using Caboodle and Clarity data sourcesAnalyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for report development. Ensure data accuracy and integrityWork closely with stakeholders, including healthcare providers, administrators, and IT teams, to gather requirements and understand reporting needsIdentify and resolve issues related to Epic reports and data discrepancies. Provide technical support and guidance to end-usersCreate and maintain detailed documentation for report specifications, development processes, and user guidesEnsure reports comply with industry regulations, standards, and organizational policiesStay current with updates and best practices related to Epic reporting tools.
