[Remote] Business Intelligence Analyst

The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for identifying data analysis needs and extracting insights to support strategic business objectives across clinical and operational areas.ResponsibilitiesWorks on multiple complex and cross-functional business intelligence and data analytics solutions, to support various clinical/business areas including quality, patient safety, regulatory, clinical service lines and administrative functionsProvides healthcare analytics support (e.g. predictive and prescriptive analytics, statistical analysis, data validation) to generate insights that can be transformed into action, and include a broad set of tools, processes, technologies, for collecting, integrating, accessing, and analyzing informationDevelops automated reports, scorecards and dashboards using various BI tools, such as Tableau, SAP BusinessObjects, and Crystal Reports, and guides users with data discovery and analysis via a high-level understanding of BI tool architecture, functions, features and capabilitiesAnalyzes customer requirements and translates them into actionable information, with an emphasis on improving user productivity and business decision makingAssists in the collaboration with IS and other departments to design, create, test, and implement analytic tools, databases, data workflows, and/or applications that support stakeholder needs, and to improve data collection and reporting strategiesEstablishes a good understanding of assigned data domain to support stakeholders and departments across the organization, in accordance with their clinical, operational, and other strategic efforts that require advanced analytical supportIdentifies, develops, and supports implementation of internal process improvement solutions that support the department’s goal to enhance clinical and operational performance improvement with data analyticsAdheres to policies/guidelines for project management, time management, and supporting documentationPerforms data quality and profiling activities for deliverables, ensuring that best practices are followed and information delivered from BI solutions is reliable and of consistently high qualityConsults with other analysts for feedback and guidance regarding best practices and quality assuranceSkillsIn lieu of degree, hands-on experience required in SQL programming, ETL design and development, and or database management or related fieldBachelor's Degree Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Public Health, or related field5 years Business/Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, Healthcare Analytics/Quality, Clinical/Operational decision support, or related field3 years Experience with SQL in an Oracle and/or SQL Server environmentTableau, Power BI, SQL, Epic (EMR), Healthcare Data LiteracyMaster's Degree Computer Science, Business, Healthcare Management, Information Systems, or related fieldData Modeling for analytics and BI, Databricks (Spark SQL), Python, MS Fabric, Cloud-Based PlatformsBenefitsFranciscan provides eligible employees with comprehensive benefit offerings.
