[Remote] Business Information Security Officer (BISO)

Madison-Davis, LLC is seeking a Business Information Security Officer to act as a strategic and technical security partner to engineering and product teams. This role involves bridging cybersecurity, cloud engineering, and business priorities to ensure security is integrated into platforms and delivery pipelines throughout the development process. Responsibilities • Serve as the primary security partner for assigned engineering and platform teams • Embed security best practices into cloud, application, and DevSecOps workflows • Guide threat modeling, secure design reviews, and architectural assessments • Influence security outcomes across Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud-native services • Translate technical risk into business-relevant context for leadership • Partner with central cyber teams including SOC, threat intelligence, and offensive security • Support large-scale transformation initiatives and complex technology programs Skills • 10+ years in security engineering, architecture, SRE, or DevSecOps roles • Strong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native architectures • Deep understanding of application, platform, and infrastructure security • Experience influencing teams without direct authority • Strong communication skills across technical and executive audiences • Background in modern software delivery and automation practices • Former SRE or platform engineering experience • Kubernetes and container security expertise • Programming experience in Python, Go, or Java • Security or cloud certifications Company Overview • Madison-Davis is a staffing and recruiting company offering financial services.
