[Remote] Business Development Specialist – Office of the COO

They are seeking a highly organized, commercially driven Business Development Specialist to work alongside the COO, focusing on sales development and project execution within healthcare and supply chain markets.ResponsibilitiesManage follow-up and progression of qualified and warm leads assigned by the COOConduct outbound prospecting through email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channelsBuild and nurture relationships throughout the sales cycle, from outreach through closeSchedule and coordinate discovery meetings, introductory calls, and product demonstrationsMaintain accurate CRM records, activity tracking, and pipeline updatesAssist with proposal development, quote coordination, and deal executionResearch target accounts and develop prospect intelligence to support account-based outreachMonitor pipeline performance and proactively identify opportunities and risksSupport achievement of key commercial initiatives (KCIs) through disciplined sales executionPartner with the COO to identify, prioritize, and execute strategic initiativesDevelop project plans, timelines, milestones, and accountability structuresTrack progress across departments and drive completion of key action itemsPrepare executive presentations, reports, dashboards, and business updatesAnalyze KPIs and provide operational insights to support decision-makingFacilitate meetings, document action items, and ensure follow-throughConduct market research, competitive analysis, and business case developmentIdentify operational inefficiencies and recommend scalable improvementsAct as an extension of the COO in managing priorities and organizational executionEngage hospitals, health systems, clinical engineering teams, and enterprise IT organizationsUnderstand mobility, charging, cart integration, and mobile device management workflowsBuild relationships with procurement, clinical operations, and IT stakeholdersSupport growth initiatives within healthcare accounts and strategic opportunitiesEngage warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, distribution, and fulfillment organizationsPosition solutions that improve workforce mobility, operational efficiency, and infrastructure scalabilitySupport expansion within existing accounts and new market segmentsDevelop relationships with operational and technology decision-makersSkillsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, or a related field3–5+ years of experience in business development, sales development, project management, or a comparable hybrid roleProven success managing outbound prospecting efforts and advancing opportunities through a sales pipelineStrong project management capabilities with experience driving timelines, deliverables, and accountabilityExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar systemsProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPointStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently while managing multiple prioritiesHigh level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential informationExperience selling technology, healthcare IT, mobility solutions, charging systems, or supply chain infrastructureExperience supporting executive leadership in a Chief of Staff, Executive Operations, or Strategic Projects capacityFamiliarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and modern outbound prospecting toolsStrong analytical skills and experience using Excel or business intelligence toolsExperience supporting trade shows, channel partners, or industry eventsMBA is a plus but not requiredBenefitsCompetitive base salaryPerformance-based incentive opportunitiesMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) participationPaid time off and company holidaysCareer advancement opportunities within a growing technology organizationCompany OverviewJAR Systems provides more versatile ways to charge and secure ever-evolving technologies.
