They are seeking a Business Development Specialist to lead initiatives, develop strategic plans, and build client relationships to expand their market presence.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategic business plans to expand our presence in the low voltage markets. Assist project teams throughout the preconstruction and build process to help ensure division success and sustainabilityLead business development initiatives, including prospecting new clients, cold calling, networking, proposal writing, and negotiating contracts for large and small -scale projects involving structured cabling, telecom infrastructure, and integrated systemsIdentify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and marketsBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry partnersLead negotiations and contract discussions to secure favorable terms for the companyCollaborate closely with the technical and project teams to tailor solutions that meet customer needsMonitor division performance metrics, implement process improvements, and report on progress to executive leadershipMonitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify emerging opportunitiesPrepare and present weekly updates on business development activities, including forecasts and performance metricsAssist, manage and/or mentor team of project managers, and technical staff.
