[Remote] Business Development Specialist

Doble Engineering is seeking a Business Development Specialist (BDS) who will support Business Development Activities by driving end customer quoting and proposal activities. The role involves managing quoting/proposal activities, creating Salesforce opportunities, and engaging with internal resources to qualify sales opportunities.ResponsibilitiesManage quoting/proposal activities to include generation of Salesforce opportunitiesCreate Salesforce opportunities to manage customer requirementsPrepares and maintains a repository of templates, standard language, and product collateralParticipates in gathering technical information for Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Quotes (RFQ) and Request for Information (RFI)Builds technical competence to facilitate opportunity qualificationEngages with internal resources including Offer Management, Engineering, Marketing and Sales OpsAttends and actively participates in Doble eventsParticipates in qualifying web generated leads to identify sales opportunitiesManages schedule, priorities, travel, and manages company expectationsEnsures that business transactions remain in compliance of the legal requirements of laws and policies such as Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), SarbanesâOxley Act, UK Anti-Bribery Act of 2010, polices of the US Office of Foreign Assets Control ("OFAC"), US sanctions policies and localized trade laws and/or policiesAdheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the teamPerforms other duties as assigned by managementDomestic travel may be required up to 30%; valid passport requiredSkillsBachelor's degree in a business or technical-related field or equivalent1 â 2 years of experience in using a CRM system such as SalesforceExcellent relationship building skills with internal and external customersThe ability to work in a Team environmentThe ability to take directionStrong communication and teamwork skillsExcellent relationship building skillsClear communication and active listeningExcellent multitasking skillsExcellent customer serviceAbility to process information wellExcellent time managementAttention to detailResults-drivenSelf-motivatedStrong desire to learn new technologies and skillsMust be capable of lifting 30 poundsMust use assistance when lifting 50 or more poundsTechnical/Inside Sales experienceElectrical Testing experienceCompany OverviewDoble is the worldâs most trusted brand in electrical diagnostics.
