Open Systems is a leading provider of native Managed SASE solutions, and they are seeking a Business Development Representative to generate new business opportunities within the US and EMEA mid-market segment. The role involves engaging prospects through targeted outreach, qualification, and discovery while contributing to revenue growth in a dynamic environment.ResponsibilitiesGenerate opportunities by assessing the client's needs and handing the opportunity over to the appropriate Sales team member in a timely mannerResearch and build prospect accounts, identifying new sales opportunities through outbound efforts (e.g. cold calls, emails, event based campaigning, content and vertical campaigns and social media)Cultivate leads by assessing the opportunity, communicating the value propositions for the customer, and following up in a timely mannerBuild and maintain relationships with key executives and decision-makersGenerate and conduct due diligence on inbound and outbound leadsReport on territory and lead activity to the manager and track and maintain prospects, as well as update contact information in CRMEnsure accurate data entry of own activities once the opportunity has been handed offAssimilate product and market knowledge and effectively communicate the benefits and feature set of Open Systems to prospects over the telephoneWork in collaboration with marketing to develop programs that will generate the best leadsDemonstrate thought leadership with customers and stay apprised of the industry trends by contributing to social media sites (i.e. X, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)SkillsFluent in English (German is a plus)At least 3 years of inside sales experience, preferably in technology salesStrong prospecting skills including cold calling, email, social media, etcDriven to succeed and the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentA passion for building new businessExcellent verbal and written communication skills; you are a clear, concise and compelling storytellerProficient in time management, setting priorities, and taking initiativePrior experience in Hubspot, Salesloft etcCompany OverviewOpen Systems is a customers experience secure connectivity service.
