[Remote] Business Development Representative

They are seeking a competitive Business Development Representative (BDR) to help the sales team build top of funnel opportunities with new customers through effective outreach. The BDR will be responsible for generating interest in the Arbiter platform and maintaining a high volume of outbound activities to secure meetings.ResponsibilitiesGenerate 15 qualified meetings per month via targeted prospectingHold engaging and compelling discussions with prospects and drive them to a meeting on the ArbiterSports platformMaintain a daily outbound activity of 50-70 calls and the associated email, LinkedIn, and follow-up outreach to secure opportunitiesDemonstrating consistent, effective, and repeatable prospecting behaviorsBe coachable and have a positive daily outlookFollow a pre-determined sales sequenceFollowing up on all leads in a timely and professional mannerDemonstrating a clear understanding of prospecting, including: outbound phone activity, sending emails, and asking for the meetingMaintaining self-discipline and the time management skills necessary to manage daily prospecting and associated tasks to build top of funnel opportunitiesResponding to questions or requests of prospects as appropriateProviding support to the AE and marketing teams as appropriate, for instance by coordinating outbound efforts and messagingProviding weekly updates to the sales manager regarding meeting volume, conversion rates, and opportunities for growthClearly articulating any market trends or obstacles to managementMaintaining all account activity data in SalesforceSkillsBachelor's or Associates Degree (preferred, but not required)Minimum of 6-months experience in software sales (within sports or K-12 education a plus)Track record of over-achievement in previous rolesExperience with Salesforce.com or a similar CRM solutionsExpertise in MS Office Suite and experience working in a remote desktop environmentCellphone or personal device to receive MFA (multi-factor authentication) texts or callsHave an internet connection that's adequate for their job, a minimum of 10Mbps downCompany OverviewCelebrating 40 Years of Leadership in Athletic and Program Management Arbiter has been a trusted partner for leagues, schools, and organizations, setting the standard in athletic and activity management for four decades.
