[Remote] Business Development Rep - AfterPay
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Cash App, a subsidiary of Block, is seeking an Outbound SMB Business Development Representative to join their team. This role involves identifying and reaching out to small and medium-sized businesses to promote Afterpay and Cash App Pay, utilizing cold outreach strategies and maintaining a sales pipeline. Responsibilities Use cold outreach strategies to develop new leads and opportunities with retailers Develop & maintain a high-volume sales pipeline to deliver on monthly and quarterly KPIs and targets Engage new accounts & maintain existing accounts to drive interest in Afterpay and Cash App Pay Conduct needs analysis to understand the specific requirements and pain points of potential clients Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce in order to ensure smooth handover to Account Executive Skills 1+ year of relevant experience in customer service or sales type role (outbound sales experience is a plus) Demonstrated track record of meeting & exceeding KPIs and targets Exceptional communication skills in writing and on the phone Excellent organizational & time management skills Self-motivated, competitive individual with the ability to work fast & smart No fear in cold calling and in speaking with C-level executives/business owners High level of enthusiasm and energy Expertise with common software (salesloft, g-suite, salesforce, etc) Payments/ecommerce experience Benefits Remote work Medical insurance Flexible time off Retirement savings plans Modern family planning Company Overview It all started with an idea at Block in 2013.
