They are seeking a Business Development Professional (BDP) to represent life science client companies at vendor shows, demos, and scientific events, while building relationships and driving sales. The role involves maintaining account lists, conducting technical discovery, and managing client interactions effectively.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain a target account list aligned to client strategy and product linesRun technical discovery and position value against incumbent solutionsDrive demos, quotes, and POs to close via direct or distributor routesBuild lasting account relationships and create repeatable demandRepresent MWE clients at conferences, lunch-and-learns, and site visitsMaintain CRM hygiene and deliver weekly pipeline updatesSkills5+ years in life science tools, reagents, instrumentation, or services sales / BDTechnical fluency in one or more: PCR/qPCR, NGS, library prep, enzymes, flow cytometry, automation, or CDMO/bioprocessConsultative selling skills: discovery, objection handling, and multi-stakeholder navigationComfort with value-selling frameworks and MEDDIC methodologySelf-starter with excellent follow-up discipline and integrityEstablished regional relationshipsHubSpot familiarityBenefitsMonthly retainer plus commission.
