They are seeking commission-based Business Development Partners to help secure sponsorships and partnerships across various domains including cannabis, sports, music, and technology.ResponsibilitiesHelp identify and pursue new partnership opportunities with artists, brands, event organizers, and other stakeholders in music and cannabis cultureResearch potential partners, reaching out via email and social platforms, conducting introductory calls, and supporting the creation of partnership proposalsCollaborate with internal teams to align partnership opportunities with RMR’s editorial, events, and marketing initiativesTrack leads, maintain basic CRM or tracking sheets, and support follow-up communications to help close commission-based dealsSkillsDemonstrated interest or experience in Sales, with comfort reaching out to potential partners and discussing value-driven opportunitiesFoundational skills in Leadership Development and Training, with the ability to grow into a role that supports and collaborates with peers and partnersBasic Project Management abilities, including organizing tasks, managing timelines, and coordinating details across multiple opportunitiesConsulting mindset, with the ability to listen to partner needs, suggest tailored solutions, and contribute to mutually beneficial collaborationsStrong communication skills (written and verbal) and professional online etiquette across email and social platformsSelf-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environmentAbility to commit consistent time each week for outreach, follow-up, and partnership development activitiesInterest in or familiarity with hip-hop, music culture, and/or cannabis industries is highly beneficialCompany OverviewRespect My Region is a online media platform.
