They are seeking a Business Development Manager - US Government Sales to develop and execute sales strategies for securing government contracts and partnerships, while building relationships with government agencies and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong sales opportunities and relationships with government agencies, procurement officers, and key decision-makersDevelop and implement strategies to increase government sales revenueStay informed about government procurement trends, policies, and bidding opportunitiesRepresent the company at industry events, trade shows, and government meetingsRespond to government RFPs (Requests for Proposals), RFQs (Requests for Quotes), and other procurement opportunitiesNegotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in compliance with government regulationsEnsure all government sales activities adhere to applicable laws and regulationsMaintain accurate records of sales activities, proposals, and contractsStrategically develop the companyâs Government sales channel and make it easy for US Government units to procure Agilite equipmentDevelop a strong government sales pipelineCreate and track sales opportunities in CRMWork in a world-class team and be a key player in developing Agiliteâs Government sales channelSkillsMinimum 3 years of experience in sales/business development or account management preferably within the defense industryPrior Military serviceExperience with government contracting vehicles (e.g., GSA Schedule, DLA Prime Vendors, IDIQ's, Programs of Record)Exceptional track record of consistently meeting or exceeding planned sales and profit objectivesDemonstrated ability to build customer relationshipsExcellent communication & presentation skills and a passion for sales/business developmentStrong organizational and time-management skills, thorough by natureFlexibility and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlineMust be a U.S. citizen or permanent residentAble and willing to travel within the USA and to IsraelBachelor's degree preferredCompany OverviewAgilite designs and supplies tactical gear, plate carriers, armor plates, helmet covers, pouches, and accessories for civilian users.
