[Remote] Business Development Manager - Small Molecule, Western Territory

The role focuses on achieving revenue targets by leveraging relationships and generating new business in the small molecule sector, while mentoring colleagues on the Inside Business Development team.ResponsibilitiesAchieve/exceed annual revenue target for the West territory (California, Washington, Oregon, and Nevada) by leveraging relationships to further penetrate existing accounts and prospecting for new accounts in the research and development and manufacturing marketsGenerate new business in the small molecule sector consistent with our market focus, operational capabilities, and laboratory capacityIdentify and secure opportunities through face to face meetings and virtual presentationsWork effectively across the organization to advance opportunitiesUse experience to mentor colleagues on the Inside Business Development teamSkillsExperience selling for a service company in the pharmaceutical sector – CDMO, CRO, or CTORecent experience executing field travel and in person client meetingsStrong scientific acumen and capacity to learn new technical informationExcellent communication, attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and positive attitudeBased in territory or commutable distanceBachelor's or advanced degree in life sciences or business administrationAt least two years bio/pharmaceutical sales or project management, in the contract services sector of the bio/pharmaceutical industry and/or testing servicesAbility to travel at least 40% of the timeAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipBenefitsExcellent full time benefits including comprehensive medical coverage, dental, and vision optionsLife and disability insurance401(k) with company matchPaid vacation and holidaysCompany OverviewEurofins provides testing and support services to the pharmaceutical, food, environmental, and consumer products industries.
