They are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to expand their Bulk Reusable Transport Packaging platform into new markets by identifying and developing opportunities for reusable bulk plastic packaging.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and evaluate nonâagriculture market opportunities for Bulk RTP across targeted sectorsPrioritize opportunities in industries such as food processing, protein and poultry processing, industrial manufacturing, recycling, and automotive supply chainsConduct market research and industry analysis to uncover new Bulk RTP applicationsGenerate, qualify, and advance a strategic pipeline of Bulk RTP opportunitiesEngage prospective customers, distributors, and industry partners to validate use cases and commercial potentialPosition Bulk RTP solutions to replace wood bins, metal containers, and singleâuse packagingPartner with Engineering and Operations to assess product fit, specifications, and manufacturing feasibilitySupport decisions related to production location, capacity, and operational readiness for new marketsContribute to new product and application development effortsSupport goâtoâmarket strategies, including product positioning, customer targeting, and commercialization plansMonitor competitive offerings, pricing trends, and emerging technologies in reusable and plastic packagingCollaborate crossâfunctionally to align business development initiatives with company growth objectivesSkillsBachelor's degree preferred5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or market development within reusable transport packaging, plastics, or industrial packagingStrong understanding of bulk RTP applications and conversion opportunities from wood, metal, or singleâuse packagingProven ability to identify emerging markets and build strategic pipelinesExperience working crossâfunctionally with engineering, operations, and product developmentStrong market analysis, communication, and relationshipâbuilding skillsProficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft OfficeAbility to operate independently while driving strategic growth initiativesMust be willing to travel up to 50%BenefitsThis position is eligible for our Sales Incentive PlanCompany OverviewIPL Schoeller produces a wide range of injection molding and plastic products such as caps, food packaging boxes and containers.
