They are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales into the food, beverage, and nutrition markets by collaborating with various teams to develop innovative protein solutions and secure long-term partnerships.ResponsibilitiesIdentify, develop, and close new business opportunities for functional and nutritional protein systems across the food, beverage, and nutrition marketsBuild, manage, and advance a sales pipeline from prospecting through commercialization and ongoing account growthPartner with customers' R&D, procurement, and innovation teams to address formulation challenges and deliver value-added ingredient solutionsCollaborate with our internal technical, operations, and supply chain teams to evaluate and execute new product development opportunitiesLead pricing discussions and negotiate supply agreements, commercial terms, and volume commitmentsRepresent AMCO Proteins at industry trade shows, conferences, and customer eventsMonitor and communicate market intelligence related to ingredient pricing, competitive activity, industry trends, and emerging application opportunitiesDevelop and maintain strategic relationships with key decision-makers to drive long-term customer partnerships and sustainable business growthSkills3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in food/nutritional ingredients or dairy proteinsWorking knowledge of protein functionality and applicationsDemonstrated track record of closing new business and growing accounts using a consultative sales approachWillingness to travel up to 40%An existing network in food, beverage, or nutrition manufacturing is a strong plusBachelor's degree in food science, business, or related field preferredCompany OverviewAMCO Proteins is a dairy protein manufacturer and offers nutritional solutions for the food, beverage, and nutrition markets.
