Skills Alliance is a US-based water technology manufacturer expanding into the nuclear sector with a new ion exchange resin product line. They are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead market entry and revenue growth across the United States, working closely with senior leadership to define strategy and develop key customer relationships.ResponsibilitiesLead commercial development of a nuclear-focused ion exchange resin product line across the USIdentify and engage with key stakeholders including nuclear utilities, EPCs, and service providersBuild and execute a go-to-market strategy for the nuclear and high-purity segmentsDrive new business acquisition and expand key accountsManage long-cycle, technically complex sales processes in regulated environmentsPartner with internal technical teams to align product capabilities with customer requirementsMonitor market trends, competitor positioning, and emerging opportunitiesRepresent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetingsSkills5+ years of experience in sales or business development within one or more of the following: Ion exchange resins / filtration / separation technologies, Water or wastewater treatment, Power generation (nuclear or thermal), Specialty chemicals or process technologiesExperience selling into regulated or technically complex industries (e.g. nuclear, power, pharmaceutical, semiconductor) is highly preferredProven ability to generate new business and manage strategic accountsComfortable navigating long, relationship-driven sales cyclesTechnically credible with the ability to engage engineering and procurement stakeholdersEntrepreneurial mindset – able to operate in a newly developing marketStrong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsBenefitsRemote role based in the United StatesTravel required (~30–50%) depending on customer engagement and industry eventsCompany OverviewSkills Alliance is a staffing & consulting agency that mainly recruits life sciences and medical technology professionals.
