They are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their Industrial Fluid Sealing Team, focusing on large industrial customers and national enterprise accounts while developing and implementing strategic business initiatives.ResponsibilitiesResearch and analyze business opportunities with the organization’s strategic plansAdvise the planning and preparation of business proposals and make recommendations to senior managementWork closely with District Directors to map out opportunities and go-to-market strategiesPartner with local sales representatives, branch management, and district leadership to execute a coordinated fluid sealing sales strategyFocus will be placed on large single-site industrial customers and national enterprise accountsLead all aspects of the development of key projects and be accountable for the successful closure of business dealsResponsible for the overall development, implementation, and progress of strategic business targetsDirect and coach lower-level professionalsAssist in developing processes to meet project needs and design projects that align with financial and operational criteriaPerform projects of complex scopePrepare documents and materials (reports, presentations, information packages) for meetings and negotiations with potential clients and business partnersForecast assigned brand shipments on a quarterly basisDevelop and implement product or sales initiativesMaintain contact with key decision-makers both internally and externallySkills2+ years of fluid sealing experienceExperience working with industrial customers within Chemical, Pulp & Paper, Oil & Gas, and Power Generation markets, with a strong preference for Chemical and Refining end usersA strong sales background; industrial experience preferredCompetitive drive with a consultative, value-based selling approachStrong problem-solving, leadership, and listening skillsProduct and vendor knowledge required (or the ability to quickly learn)Valid driver's license requiredRole requires 50% travelPrior experience in industrial sales is preferred3+ years of Business Development Management experience preferredBenefitsHealthDentalVisionPaid time offLife insuranceA 401(k) with a company matchMental health coverageGender affirming and family building benefitsPaid parental leaveAssociate discountsCommunity involvement opportunitiesBonus or Incentive Plan eligibleCompany OverviewSince 1953, Ferguson has been a leading source of quality supplies for a variety of industries.
