[Remote] Business Development Manager - HRS/NPP

They are seeking a Business Development Manager to build and develop relationships with vendors to enhance brand awareness and increase contract utilization in new markets.ResponsibilitiesEstablishes long-term professional relationships with primarily existing, but also potentially new, members and vendors (government or relevant associations and industries) to promote the organization’s products and servicesProvides on-going support to vendors ensuring they receive high quality customer service with consultative solutions and opportunities to better use existing contractsCreates lasting partnerships and co-branding opportunitiesSells value proposition and its role in helping the vendor succeed in the partnershipCreates selling environment where offering expert advice is valued, and where the vendor’s business is the focal point of all discussion effortsSkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business or related field required3 years strategic sales experience in business-to-business sales environmentMust have a proven track record of developing new business and expanding existing businessShows deep understanding of the business and industryDisplays political savvy and an ability to build mutually beneficial relationships quicklyProven ability to build and execute strategic account plansSelf-starter, highly organized with effective time management skills and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervisionExcellent interpersonal skills. Strong customer service skillsStrong negotiation, networking, communication and persuasion skills in one on one, small group and large group presentation settingsExcellent writing skills.
