The Business Development Manager will be responsible for establishing and growing a strong presence within the assigned sales region, building customer relationships, and driving sales growth.ResponsibilitiesBuilds market position by growing existing business and locating, developing, defining, and closing new business relationships at scale to drive revenue growthLocates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partnersDevelops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of the new business relationship and Nice Access technologiesInteracting with multiple levels of the organization to ensure consistencyNavigate and operate effectively in a matrix sales organization by driving Regional Sales Managers and providing training, prospecting and technical supportRepresent company at trade shows to network with new & existing customersDeliver sales presentations to potential new businessAnalyze and control expenditures of channel to conform to budgetary requirementsMonitor and evaluate competitors’ activities and products. Provide competitive intelligenceDeveloping ways to improve the customer experience and build brand loyaltyWorking jointly with Distribution team to develop monthly promo offers for access productsPerform any other related duties as required or assignedIdentify and drive long-term strategic partnershipsSkills5 to 7 years' sales experience in channel sales management (rep groups, distributors, accounts) in the Access Control space4-year college degree or equivalent work experienceDemonstrated successful sales skills core competenciesExceptional negotiation, motivational, relationship-building, and client service skillsEnergetic, dynamic, enthusiastic personalityCommunicate effectively across all internal and external levelsSelf-starter, self-motivated individual comfortable working remotelyIntermediate to advanced experience in sales reporting utilizing CRM (such as Salesforce.com), and MS Office applications requiredFlexible and adaptable, adjusts to changing priorities in fast-growth, dynamic environmentPositive attitude, self-motivated and eager to succeedExperience with Salesforce or another ERP system a plusAn interest in consumer electronic products and training in technically related areas to best represent products and relate to the channelCompany OverviewFounded in the early 1990's, Nice is a global leader in Home Management Solutions, offering a complete range of integrated solutions for gate automation, garage doors, solar shading systems, parking systems, wireless alarm systems and home security, for residential, commercial and industrial applications; smart and connected systems for residential and commercial applications, for the security, access control, AI (Artificial Intelligence), comfort & wellness, control and power/AV sectors.
