The Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth by acquiring new customers and ensuring retention and expansion within their territory, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet sales objectives and enhance customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesMeet or exceed sales objectives for Robotic Solution sales, maximizing ancillary revenue at POS, and integrating Eddyfi NDT products into the solutions where appropriateFocus on acquiring new customers by focusing on the successful sale of the first unit, establishing strong initial relationships, and driving business development activities, while ensuring consistent growth and retention within the existing customer baseCollaborate with the Inside Sales and Application teams to coordinate efforts and initiatives that drive customer satisfaction, foster business growth, and enhance retention and loyaltyUnderstanding customer needs and requirements to request accurate quotes via Salesforce & coordinate sales proposal preparation and presentationResearching accounts, identifying key players, and generating interest in the company’s complete offerings in assigned territory/market/strategic clientsDevelop strategic sales plans prioritizing business development for first unit sales at new customers, while maintaining base growth, optimizing the quality of service, business growth and customer satisfactionSupport and assist the sales management process to analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports to monitor sales team performance and plan action items for improvementsProvide market intelligence input to Product Line Product Managers to optimize development and to forecast accuratelyPrepare, plan, and develop meetings, account plans and presentationsConnect with customers virtually, by phone, online meeting platforms, and through face-to-face visitsUpdate the CRM daily with prospect's information, sales contacts, meeting minutes, customer interactions and tasks such that the forecast accurately always reflects the Sales Managers opportunity funnelAttend internal sales meetings and sales development trainingTravel to and from customer locations (driving or flying where required)Administrative tasks such as booking travel and completing expensesWork in collaboration with finance to improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)SkillsAssociate's degree in a technical or business-related subject is requiredMinimum of 10 years' business to business sales experienceBachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related subject is preferredRobotics knowledge and experienceNDT/NDE experience preferredCompany OverviewHeadquartered in beautiful Québec, Canada, Eddyfi Technologies provides the highest performance Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspection technologies and robotic solutions in the world that help OEMs, asset owners, and service companies enhance productivity, save lives, and protect the environment.
