They are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business growth in the Life Sciences sector, focusing on developing long-term relationships with key stakeholders and identifying new market opportunities.ResponsibilitiesUtilize business development process to identify new customers and develop specific action plans to grow new accounts in the Life Sciences spaceConsistently ascertain customer needs and current market opportunitiesAssemble and coordinate acquisition team as needed for customers and projectsConvert leads into opportunities by assigning the appropriate sales process, identifying the required sales team members, making assignments, and communicating the next steps in the processDevelop strategic relationships with key decision-makers in customer organizationsTravel: 40% - 60%, dependent on business needsSkillsA minimum of 4+ years of business development and indirect solution sales experience in the Life Sciences market spaceProven experience developing and maintaining high-level business relationships that produce resultsFirst-hand experience and strong working knowledge in one or more of the following vertical markets: Pharmaceutical and Biopharma, as well as higher ed and healthcare spaces as they relate to life sciencesMust possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI in the previous 5 years, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 yearsBachelor's degree in engineering or a related course of study is strongly preferredBenefitsIncentive Eligible.
