The Business Development Manager will be responsible for business development, strategy execution, and managing customer relationships to grow market shares in the US energy storage sector.ResponsibilitiesBusiness development, strategy, and executionProspecting, qualifying and acquiring new customers as well as managing existing relationship with customers in energy storage wholesales/distributions, EPC, Developer, IPP. The focus will be on DevelopersThe region is the North AmericaTranslate client requests and market trends into high level of service, product modifications, and new product developments and deliver growth in revenueCoordinate all technical activities related to customer and project successGathering information about energy storage market intelligence, ensure appropriate response strategies are formulated & implementedDevelop and maintain relationships with BESS distribution channelsNurture the relationship with leading BESS project developers at multiple levels to ensure that LONGi Storage remains the supplier of choice for power conversion electronics in their installationsProvide input regarding marketing and product positioning strategies specific to the marketsSuccessfully execute a brand and messaging strategy and act as an external evangelist for the brandLiaise with headquarter and the global team and peers to ensure that sales targets are being defined and metSkillsBusiness development expertise with a proven sales track record with tier 1 companiesStrongly networked in the renewable energy, preferable in energy storage industryAbility to influence major stakeholders both internally & externallyStrong communication skills including large group presentations & discussionsExcellent organization skills with the ability to quickly assess prioritiesExcellent customer relationship managementAble to confidently convey product benefits & cost advantages to customersDemonstrate professionalism in working with customer to resolve emergency situationsBachelor's degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or of similar natureFluent in EnglishSolid experience with energy storage products, preferably BESSFlexibility in working for highly fluctuating and demanding marketsInternational mindset for a multi-cultural environmentWilling to travelCompany OverviewLONGi Energy Storage is a subsidiary of LONGi Group.
