The Business Development Manager will generate and qualify leads, build relationships, and drive revenue growth by connecting organizations with Contract Lifecycle Management solutions.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and prospect new business opportunities through outbound outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn, events)Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and messagingMaintain accurate records of interactions in CRM systemStay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and our service offeringsSupport the sales team in pipeline development and strategic account planningSupport Spaulding Ridge Managing Director(s) and/or Principal Architect(s) to drive and manage complex sales cycles and efficiently present value to prospects, software partners and clientsGenerate pipeline by leveraging Spaulding Ridge’s strategic relationships, demand generation tools, and ongoing marketing automation within key market segmentsDevelop qualified prospects by:Following up on marketing-generated leads and inbound requestsFollowing up with event attendeesPerforming outbound cold calling and email correspondenceUtilizing other forms of digital prospecting to targeted prospectsDevelop co-selling transformative opportunities with technology partnersExceed weekly and monthly sales metrics, forecasts, meeting, and call objectivesAbility to identify cross-sell opportunities across practice areasRepresent Spaulding Ridge’s values with each touchpointSkills2-4 years as an Account Executive, or similar sales role, cold prospecting, qualifying, negotiation, closing, and managing accounts post-saleStrong communication skills (e.g., oral, written, presentation) and interpersonal skillsComfortable with cold outreach and lead generation tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator)Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, MS Dynamics)Familiarity with Integrations and/or Data Solutions platforms (i.e. Mulesoft, Boomi, Snowflake, Databricks)Interest in cloud technologies and digital transformationSelf-motivated, goal-oriented, with energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment, and professionalismExperience working based off a transactional quota and high intensity sales motionsHigh moral character with a desire to do what is right for prospects and clientsAbility to travel up to 50%Experience self-generating new business and upside if familiar with channel relationship sellingPrior experience selling Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions — especially in a consulting or B2B environmentBenefitsGenerous time offPaid holidaysPaid parental leaveA 401(k) with company matchHighly subsidized health, dental, and vision plansCompany-paid life and disability insuranceA monthly allowance for well-being and technology expensesReimbursement for approved learning and development initiatives within defined limitsAnnual discretionary bonus (may be eligible)Company OverviewSpaulding Ridge is a provider of advisory and cloud technology services.
