[Remote] Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager will develop new client relationships and strengthen existing ones in the Midwest, focusing on the Industrial market and collaborating with internal teams to deliver effective solutions.ResponsibilitiesDevelop new and strengthen existing client relationships throughout the Midwest region of the USSupport Structural Technologies and Construction divisions by performing sales functions on high-value projects in the food and beverage, chemical plants, and other industrial facilitiesFoster existing client relationships and develop new relationships to meet financial goalsGive presentations to potential clients on our Infrastructure Maintenance solutions and work with Construction divisions and Technologies to follow up on feedback and inquiries that arise from presentationsActively participate in industry events and present at tradeshows as appropriateParticipate in web-based meetings, in-person meetings, emails, and phone calls with Company’s current, assigned and potential clients as neededFollow up, pursue, and communicate information on project and client leads provided by the Inside Sales teamAssist with drafting proposals for Industrial Infrastructure Maintenance projects and necessary revisionsAssist with assembly of bid packages for Strengthening projects as necessary or requestedAttend jobsite walks and pre-bid meetings as neededParticipate in project review calls and maintain up to date CRM database powered by Salesforce for Industrial projectsUpdate the existing company contact databases with new contacts obtained from presentations, meetings, conferences, etcWork with the Structural Group’s marketing resources to help develop this database and reach out to key targetsSkillsCandidates who possess a bachelor's degree may be given preferenceSome sales experience desired, building relationships, and expanding a client base in the industrial markets.
