[Remote] Business Development Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new logo accounts for DeVryWorks, with success measured based on the quantity of deals closed and total contract value.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and research potential clients with a focus on expanding our customer base through DeVryWorks Completion Grant partnershipsUtilize various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, and social networking, to generate leadsEngage with potential clients to understand their needs and assess the suitability of our products/servicesQualify leads based on defined criteria to ensure efficient use of resourcesEffectively communicate the value proposition of our products/services to potential clientsConduct product demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of our offeringsEmploy a proactive and persistent approach to close a high volume of deals within a defined timeframeOvercome objections and address concerns to facilitate successful closuresMaintain a robust sales pipeline and provide regular updates on progress to the sales management teamUtilize CRM tools to track and prioritize leads through the sales processCollaborate with internal teams to ensure a timely transition from sales to activationSeek feedback from clients to contribute to product/service improvementsUtilize sales enablement technology including Salesforce, Gong, MS Teams, ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Navigator to effectively deliver on outcomesUtilize trends and provided reporting for continuous improvementSkillsBachelor's degree required3+ years' experience in facilitation including virtual deliveryConsistently meeting or exceeding revenue targetsHighly motivated, self-driven, result-oriented, strategic, logical and methodical thinkerProven excellent communication skills – both written and verbalDisplay a high level of attention to detailUnderstand adult learning theory and be able to inspire loyalty and trustAbility and willingness to work as part of an interdependent team willing to share and exchange ideasAbility to effectively multi-task and handle impromptu changes in directionIllustrate a creative and innovative mindset to think outside the box and always look for ways to improve processesMaster's degree preferredStrong interest in the Education or Skills Training industry preferredBenefitsThis position is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.401k with up to 6% company matchTuition assistance and career development opportunitiesRemote & hybrid opportunitiesComprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, vision, and mental health)FSA/HSA options, disability & life insuranceCompany OverviewFostering student learning through high-quality education integrating technology, science, business and the arts.
