[Remote] Business Development Manager

The role involves driving growth in the Medical Device sector by building a project pipeline, executing strategic sales plans, and establishing relationships with key accounts.ResponsibilitiesDrive new business growth with Medical Device companies across North America and EuropeDevelop a strong understanding of Medical Device market dynamics, including regulatory and certification requirementsBuild and grow the project pipeline by prospecting, qualifying and evaluating opportunities, and closing businessDefine and execute a strategic sales plan to expand Aptar EFC’s customer base and strengthen our footprint in Medical DevicesPosition Aptar EFC as a preferred partner for fluid management and flow control across Medical Device applications (e.g., enteral feeding bags, trocars, lab diagnostic testing, endoscopic devices)Develop strong relationships within key accounts across functions (R&D/engineering, quality, regulatory, operations, procurement, and leadership)Represent Aptar EFC at industry trade shows, association events, and conferencesMonitor competing products and the competitive landscape to inform strategy and positioningGather market data and competitive intelligence through customer engagement, key opinion leaders, regulatory bodies, field insights, and external resources (e.g., publications and consultants)Plan and analyze application field research to identify unmet needs and opportunities for differentiationTranslate customer needs into clear product solutions and associated product attributesInitiate new product development by building business cases and strategic/tactical plans in partnership with cross-functional teamsSupport the creation of marketing and sales tools (external communications, customer presentations) for existing and new offeringsSkills10+ years of sales and/or business development experience in Medical Devices or closely related marketsBachelor's degree required; MBA or Master's degree in business, engineering, or materials science preferredDemonstrated success developing and executing sales strategies and delivering measurable growthEstablished network within Medical Device organizations and/or med dev CDMOs, including medical device executives and device engineersExperience selling complex technologies; able to navigate regulatory considerations and Medical Device development timelinesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate a compelling value proposition to technical and commercial audiencesEntrepreneurial, self-driven, and detail-oriented, with strong curiosity and learning agilityCross-functional experience (e.g., operations, quality, product development, project management) is a plusMBA or Master's degree in business, engineering, or materials scienceBenefitsCompetitive base salary and performance-based bonus plan.Innovative benefits plan which includes: 401k & Retirement Savings plan, vacation, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, pet insurance, wellness plan, and generous paid maternity/paternity leave.Health, life, and disability insurance401(k) match and employer retirement savings contributionFlexible spending accountsEAPEducation assistanceParental leavePaid time offCompany-paid holidaysCompany OverviewEvery day, Aptar creates “a-ha moments” for its customers and their consumers and patients by continually bringing innovations to market that convert non-dispensing packaging into breakthrough product-dispensing systems, including those that give people more effective ways to put on their favorite fragrance, kids the opportunity to pour ketchup without making a mess and patients connected technologies that help them more easily adhere to treatment.
