[Remote] Business Development Executive - Absence

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for targeting prospect companies and driving new absence sales, while managing the sales process and developing relationships with key stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute an aggressive plan and strategy for lead and RFP generation and qualificationStrategically manage the sales process including requests for proposals (RFPs), contract negotiations and deal closingsMaking presentations and leading the team in all aspects of finalist meeting execution, prep, delivery and follow-upUnderstanding customer needs and aligning the best HR and employee experience with the AbsenceResources® value proposition in a consultative wayWork with operations, implementation and service teams to ensure the best onboarding experience for customersDevelop relationships with direct prospects, brokers, consultants, and other distribution partners to further the AbsenceResources® brand while creating market opportunitiesKnowledge of the absence competitive landscape including technology solutions as well as key HRIS, Payroll, Time and Attendance; Ben Admin vendorsPerform pipeline tracking and sales process reportingCollaborate with ComPsych’s business leaders, sales, and service teams to leverage the company’s reputation and relationships to grow the absence businessWork with account management team to renew customersTravel as needed to key partner, customer and finalist meetingsOther duties as assignedSkillsAt least 3 years of experience selling and/or servicing absence administration customers with deep knowledge of the customer absence needs, the marketplace and the consultants and brokers that operate in that spaceEstablished list of key HR and/or benefit consultant contacts for immediate utilizationProven track record having consistently exceeded goals and expectations in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated ability to manage a complex sales process of prospecting, lead qualification, sales strategy development and relationship buildingAnalytical, organizational and planning skills for forecasting, pipeline tracking and reportingStrong oral and written communication and presentation skills including video presentations; experience in market development and meeting with senior executivesBeing a self-starter, goal oriented and having attention to detailUnderstanding and the ability to use technology including the Microsoft office suite of productsBachelor's degree required and a stable work history requiredBenefitsFull benefits package, including Paid Time Off (PTO), medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, robust EAP, wellness program, and much moreCompany OverviewComPsych® is the world’s largest provider of mental health services and GuidanceResources® for life.
