[Remote] Business Development Director - RIA

They are seeking a Business Development Director - RIA to lead the sales of managed accounts and other solutions to RIA clients, develop sales strategies, and expand adoption of their wealth management ecosystem.ResponsibilitiesLead sales of managed accounts (SMA/UMA/Strategists) and other Envestnet solutions (tax overlay, direct indexing strategies, etc.) to current Tamarac and Envestnet RIA clientAct as a lead generalist (supported by SMEs) to identify and shepherd sales opportunities, spanning managed account trading technologies, performance reporting, investment solutions, overlay services, credit, and insurance exchange platformIdentify, recruit, and sign new $100MM+ RIA firms on to ENV/TAM, then drive managed account adoption with these firmsGrow, develop, and retain RIA managed account assets in your territory Promote and expand footprint of ENV Financial Wellness Solutions (Alternatives/Credit/Insurance/etc.) with RIAsManage daily job requirements in Salesforce, Calendly, Seismic, etcAdherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requestedAs part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize riskSkills10+ years of financial services experiences, preferably in advisory platform/asset management salesBA/BS in finance, business administration or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and experienceDeep understanding of the advisory business model, Trading and Reporting technology and financial planning processGeneralist understanding of investment solutions, and wealth management services such as index replication, overlay, credit and insurance productsDeveloped and successfully executed product and go-to-market strategies within the financial services industry10+ years' experience of working with financial advisors, managing a region and achieving sales quotasStrong business acumen and exceptional leadership, organizational, communication and presentation skillsExcellent people and management skills to interact with clients, colleagues, cross-functional teams as well as third partiesWillingness to travel up to 60%Agile; able to identify and apply appropriate 'win-win' solutions even in new situationsCFP/CFA designation is a plusEnvestnet platform or comparable experience with a fintech platform providerBenefitsIncentive compensationEquityMedical insurancePaid time off (PTO)401k company matchPaid parental leaveEducation reimbursementDisability coverageMental health & wellness supportCompany OverviewEnvestnet provides integrated technology, intelligent data, and wealth solutions to registered investment advisors, banks, and dealers.
