The Business Development Director is responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic business plans, and managing the sales cycle while collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure client onboarding and account management.ResponsibilitiesDriving growth across Bridge Investment Group’s investment strategies and client segmentsIdentifying and cultivating new business opportunitiesDeveloping and executing strategic business plansBuilding a robust pipeline of qualified prospects across institutional, intermediary, and private wealth channels as applicableProspect outreach, lead qualification, and managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract negotiation and closePartnering closely with internal stakeholders, including investment, marketing, legal, and operations teams, to tailor pitches and respond to RFPsEnsuring a smooth onboarding process for new clientsOngoing account management and maintaining strong relationships with existing investorsMonitoring market trends and providing feedback to leadership on competitive positioning and product developmentSkillsProven experience in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with a track record of sourcing, qualifying, and converting prospects within financial services or investment managementDemonstrated strength in Business Planning, including developing go-to-market plans, setting revenue targets, and using data to prioritize channels and opportunitiesHands-on expertise in Contract Negotiation, including structuring terms, collaborating with legal teams, and closing complex institutional or high-value client agreementsRobust Account Management skills, with the ability to deepen relationships, identify cross-selling opportunities, and deliver a high standard of ongoing client serviceStrong knowledge of alternative investments, real estate, or asset management, with the ability to communicate complex strategies in a clear and compelling wayExcellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with comfort presenting to senior decision-makers and investment committeesProficiency with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively across distributed teamsBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA, CFP, FINRA licenses if applicable) are a plusDemonstrated commitment to ethical business practicesAdvanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA, CFP, FINRA licenses if applicable)Company OverviewBridge Investment Group, an affiliate of Apollo Global Management (NYSE: APO), is a leading alternative investment manager focused on specialized asset classes.
