[Remote] Business Development Director
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Casepoint is a leader in corporate legal discovery technology, seeking a Business Development Director to enhance its market share. The role focuses on driving revenue growth by identifying sales opportunities, managing the sales process, and building relationships with prospective customers.ResponsibilitiesSuccess in this role will be determined by your ability to meet and/or exceed your individual sales targets for the number of new ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) logos acquired, number of high value multi-year contracts won, and the robustness of your sales pipeline at all times (4x+ your sales target)Working with our sales operations team, source, qualify and develop new sales opportunities through targeted outbound email campaigns, telephone calls, inbound lead follow-up, and networkingDevelop, grow, maintain and execute on a robust sales pipeline of high value deals targeting new ICP customers for recurring revenue multi-year term contracts based on company targetsBuild strong relationships with prospective customers to win new contracts and referralsWork closely with marketing to qualify, accept, validate and pursue sales qualified leads and to provide feedback on all digital demand generation activitiesWork and communicate professionally with all departments to capture opportunities including Account Management, Professional Services, Product, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources and Information ServicesAssist your sales team colleagues to help them meet and/or exceed their goalsEnsure all suspects, prospects and opportunities are qualified properly and execute a professional sales process that embraces Casepoint strategic guidelinesMaintain information for all sales prospects in Casepoint’s CRM toolDrive the sales process from initial contact through close, including scheduling and coordinating external sales activities and creating, coordinating, and finalizing proposals and contracts for dealsCollaborate with the entire sales and marketing teams to create an environment of teamwork and meeting goals & standardsExtend a perpetual effort to maintain and extend your personal knowledge of both Casepoint technology and innovation as well as legal technology industry developmentsCollaborate with the various Casepoint teams to draft and deliver proposals as neededOther duties as assigned by your managerSkillsMinimum 5+ years of prior sales success in the corporate legal technology marketExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to initiate and build rapport with potential customersOrganized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skillsAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectivelyDeep interest AND experience in legal technology and sales in the US Commercial marketDedicated team player who will partner with others to reach a larger goalAbility to learn and use new technology quickly with appropriate training & instructionStrong organizational skills to keep contacts and schedules perfectly in orderMinimum BA/BS degree or equivalent experienceCompany OverviewCasepoint is a technology company focused on the digital transformation of litigation discovery.
