They are seeking a motivated Business Development Associate to support strategic growth across U.S. Government and Department of Defense customers, focusing on customer engagement, opportunity identification, and proposal development.ResponsibilitiesSupport development and execution of Government Systems growth strategiesAssist with customer engagement activities across Government, military, and industry stakeholdersCoordinate customer visits, technical demonstrations, site tours, and industry engagementsHelp identify emerging customer needs, capability gaps, and acquisition prioritiesMaintain customer contact records and support follow-up actionsMonitor RFIs, BAAs, OTAs, SBIRs, and other Government opportunity announcementsSupport opportunity qualification and pipeline tracking activitiesAssist in maintaining customer and opportunity databasesConduct market research and competitive analysisSupport white paper, presentation, and proposal development effortsCoordinate internal reviews and collect technical content from engineering and program teamsAssist with capture planning activities and customer outreachSupport teaming discussions and industry partner engagementCoordinate Government Systems participation in trade shows, conferences, demonstrations, and customer eventsDevelop marketing materials, capability statements, briefing products, and customer-facing contentManage event logistics and support post-event follow-up activitiesCoordinate with corporate marketing to ensure alignment of branding and messagingWork closely with engineering, program management, operations, and leadership teamsSupport development of strategic growth plans and customer engagement campaignsProvide market intelligence and customer feedback to leadershipAssist with CRM management and business development reportingSkillsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, Political Science, or a related field3–8 years of experience in business development, marketing, communications, program support, defense industry operations, or related fieldsStrong interest in U.S. Government and Department of Defense acquisition and technology developmentAbility to learn Government contracting and acquisition processesU.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident required due to ITAR-controlled workStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational and project management abilitiesComfortable interacting with customers, senior leaders, and technical personnelAbility to translate technical concepts into customer-friendly messagingSelf-starter with a willingness to learn and growProficiency with Microsoft Office products and presentation developmentAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work at a computer workstation for extended periodsAbility to travel domestically up to 25%Ability to attend trade shows, customer meetings, flight demonstrations, and industry eventsBenefitsDiscretionary annual performance bonus based on individual and company performanceComprehensive benefits program, which includes health, dental, vision, and voluntary benefits401K with company matchCompany-paid holidaysPaid time off for vacation and personal timeEvery other Friday offCompany OverviewIdeal Aerosmith is an electronic manufacturing company that supplies precision inertial guidance test systems and rotational rate tables.
