The ideal candidate will perform market analysis, conduct business intelligence, and develop strategies to win new business within the Department of War ADO market areas.ResponsibilitiesIdentifies and implements business development projects relating to professional servicesIdentifies markets and determines the feasibility of product and service developmentPerforms economic analyses on new or improved product opportunities and/or business models and coordinates with internal departments in identifying/implementing business development projectsWorks with sales, marketing, and potential customers to determine their needsDevelops and disseminates information continuously to all pertinent parties concerning the fulfillment of project goals and objectivesDevelop and execute an account strategy and pipeline to win new business within DoW ADO market areasIdentify, qualify, and win new business opportunities, with high Pwin potential, on prime contracts worth over $50MBuild/maintain a robust qualified pipeline of opportunities that align with HII-Mission Technologies' strategic growth visionDevelop and implement customer call plans for identified opportunitiesAssess the competitive landscape and lead the development and implementation of differentiated win strategiesLead and/or support in the negotiation of teaming agreementsEngage customers in identifying and shaping potential opportunities using knowledge of the customer’s mission and challenges, company capabilities, client relationships and contract vehicles, to include GWACs, large MACs, and other alternative contract vehicles available across HII-Mission TechnologiesLead the development of white papers, RFI, Market Surveys, and Sources Sought responses, as well as lead in-person meetingsDevelop and present bid/no bid recommendations and pursuit and capture strategies at Gate ReviewsSupport the capture and proposal development phases of the opportunity lifecycle by providing customer insights, solutions support, color review participation, and proposal writing, as requiredRepresent ADO Group as the primary internal and external contact on new business pursuitsHave regular interaction with high-level customer leadership and engage and collaborating visibly with internal business unitsPersonally model HII values of integrity, safety, honesty, engagement, responsibility, and performanceSkills10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field;
